My weekend planning are very much predictable. Most of the time I use to sleep for hours. If not the surely I am out Gurgaon for a trip.

The land of the Red River and Blue Hills
Assam - the land of the red river and blue hills, a unique landscape with sprawling tea gardens and unending stretches of paddy fields interspersed with groves of areca nuts, and banana trees. Nature left no stone unturned to make it a paradise on the earth. Major portion of its area is under forest cover and therefore boasts of 18 Wild life Sanctuaries and 5 National Parks namely - Kaziranga, Manas, Dibru, Saikhowa, Nameri & Orang within its precincts. Out of these National Parks, both Kaziranga & Manas enjoy the status of World Heritage.
Lots to say about this paradise on the earth. Let me give a holy effort of painting it down.

Few snaps from this beautiful tea garden which incidently lies just in front of home @ Jorhat. This estate belongs to "Bezbarooah"; the famous tea-gardener family of Assam.....

Trekking Diary
After joining the corporate world, my life boosts up with another dimension- "Trekking in Himalayas". Living and working in NCR provide a very good chance for me to explore the Great Himalayas.
Nagtibba-Peak of Nag-Devta
It was my first trek. Passing through Deodar and Rhododradon forest, Red Rhododradon flowers, tea with shephards, rains,..what are you waiting for..check it out... Mesmerised by Mighty Himalaya...
Trek to Deoriatal and Chopta-Tungnath-Chandrashila
It comprises of two treks...one from Sari-Deoriatal and another from Chopta-Tungnath-Chandrashila.
My First Snow Trek: Triund-Laka
It was the best 1st January I ever had. Staying 31st Dec night on hill top at sub zero temperature, bonfire, awesome sunset and sunrise..and more....
